Human Rights Defenders Alert-India is deeply concerned at the case filed on Professor G Haragopal, retired professor of University of Hyderabad and a visiting professor at the National Law School University , Bengaluru  and 151 other human rights defenders by the Telangana police under draconian laws like the UAPA and other charges such as sedition etc. though there is news that the cases against him and a few others have been withdrawn  .
