Additionally, the wrongful application of the SC/ST PoA Act is highlighted, as Mr. Singh made no caste-based insult. HRDA- India appeals to the NHRC to:

1. Direct the Director General of Police of Haryana to dismiss false charges against Mr. Jaspal Singh.
2. Initiate an independent, thorough inquiry into the arrest, submitting a transparent report to the NHRC.
3. Ensure the physical security of Mr. Jaspal Singh and his family, preventing further harassment by the police.
